S.O.S. FEST
Son Of A Sailor Fest – or S.O.S. Fest – is a celebration of Jimmy Buffett and the sonic gumbo of the Gulf Coast in his waterfront hometown of Mobile, Alabama.
Inspired by the mix of unique musical influences of the region, storytelling, and salt-air soul that defined Buffett’s career, the festival brings together performances by world class musicians and emerging regional artists, coastal culture, and a community united by good vibes, great music, and a love for the Gulf Coast.

Jimmy often said he was a “child of the Mardi Gras”which makes sense as Mobile is home to the oldest carnival celebration in the United States. So there is no better way to kick off the party than with a brass band and a parade down the historic streets of Downtown Mobile!
